There’s no bigger name in Australian wine than Penfolds; or bigger responsibility to produce a range of premium gifting products, befitting of the brand. That’s why we were delighted that the Penfolds brand team entrusted Upstairs Yellow to deliver.

From product design, prototyping and testing, through to manufacturing, packing and fulfillment, we set about crafting a suite of gifts we’d love to receive ourselves.Our wine carriers were made from high quality vegan leather and lined with macrosuede to protect the two bottles housed inside.

Concealed magnets ensured a smooth opening and closing. Premium black core paper stock with a butter varnish finish was sourced to produce casino quality playing cards, presented in a hand-wrapped box made by professional bookbinders. And our stunning wine aerators featuring a custom anodised aluminum ribbon with etched branding, were able to be sent directly to customers in a sustainable mailer box solution.

Each product required meticulous attention to detail across multiple manufacturers to ensure the famous Penfolds red colour was correct and consistent.
